Thomas Prentice

Tom is an undergraduate chemist (MChem) at the University of Leeds and currently in his final year of study. During the third year of his degree he completed a year in industry at a company called Lubrizol in Derbyshire. Tom was a Student Chemist in the Applied and Strategic Research department where he investigated the demulsification effects of fuel additives with water ingress in automotive fuel. Now in his fourth year, Tom is under the supervision of Dr Richard Bourne for his Master’s project. He is working alongside the Bourne Group with the aim of investigating multi-objective optimisation of reactions in flow by changing discrete variables.
